HOW TO KEEP SUNDAY - when we cannot go to Holy Mass

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for the foreseeable future will be said privately: 

- on Sunday the intention will be for the people and the well-being of this parish.
- during the week the intention will be as previously arranged and published on the Newsletter or for the same intention as Sunday.

We are asked to unite ourselves to this Holy 'unbloody' Sacrifice by offering to Almighty God a sacrifice of our own time and abilities. How can we do this ?

- on Sunday at the usual times of Holy Mass there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

for a variety of reasons you may not be able to physically get to Church so...

- Holy Mass is available 'live streamed' in many places

- prayerfully read the passages of Sacred Scripture allocated to each Sunday (or day)

- make an Act of Spiritual Communion and an examination of conscience

My Jesus, 
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. 
I love You above all things, 
and I desire to receive You into my soul. 
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally, 
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

- make sure those who live close to us are coping. This is a time to be open to our neighbours and their needs.
